Before you use the Diffuser, make sure to remove the yellow battery insulator. It’s also written on the yellow notice that is basically in (almost) every Olight package.

Diffuse, a lipstick-size lightweight EDC, stands out with a maximum output of 700 lumens and an impressive runtime of up to 180 hours, making it a versatile and long-lasting companion for everyday carry needs.
Let's start with the appearance. The pentagonal (5 equal sides) Diffuse does not have any knurling, which is probably its weakest point, and may feel a little slippery with sweaty hands. Of course, the pentagonal shape aids in the anti-roll function, making it relatively easy to keep the flashlight in place. In that regard, I think this might be a good flashlight to add to your tool bag or tool box. Since Diffuse is IPX8 waterproof, you can drop it into a bucket of water up to 2 meters deep without causing any problems.
One way to carry the Diffuse is with the included lanyard, which attaches to the Diffuse's tail cap. There is a hole on the tail cap for attaching a lanyard. It's flat on the tail so you can stand it up.
Olight Diffuse uses a side switch. This type of switch can be easily turned on in your pocket. Therefore Olight added a locking function, which can be activated by holding the switch in the off position for 2 seconds. A red light around the switch lets you know it's locked. Each time you press the switch in the locked position, the red light will illuminate.

Olight Diffuse is cool white light, Olight's specified color temperature is 5700-6700K.
Olight Diffuse uses Olight customized, 920 mAh, 14500 battery. The battery voltage reaches 3.6V and is in good condition. It's a custom battery (according to the manual) with a USB-C port near the positive terminal. The following is mentioned on the battery packaging:
