Hello everyone, today I want to introduce the Olight Arkfeld series. The Arkfeld series currently has three models: Arkfeld, Arkfeld UV, and Arkfeld Pro. When the Arkfeld was first introduced to the market, it gained popularity for its slim flat design, versatile modes, and a Class 1 green laser. The second-generation Arkfeld UV improved the ergonomics of the body and clip and changed the green laser to a UV light. The latest generation, Arkfeld Pro, combines all these features and comes with some upgrades. Today, I want to specifically recommend the Arkfeld Pro, which has many cool things to offer.
Arkfeld: The Era of Dual Light Sources
The journey of the Arkfeld series began with the Arkfeld, which introduced a new approach to flashlights. It departed from the traditional cylindrical shape and offered a rectangular prism design that is both unique and practical. This design makes it comfortable to hold and easy to slip into a pocket without worrying about it rolling off if left on a table or desk.
But what sets the Arkfeld apart is its dual light source functionality. In addition to being a compact and bright flashlight, it also comes equipped with a Class 1 green laser pointer, similar to the laser pen in the Olight O'Pen Pro. This laser combines the compact design and secure pocket clip, making it suitable for various environments, from office settings to outdoor adventures.
Arkfeld UV: Responding to Feedback
While the original Arkfeld was well-received, fans and customers expressed a desire for more features. Many requested a UV light instead of the laser pointer. Olight listened to the feedback, and thus, the Arkfeld UV was born. It replaces the laser pointer with a 365nm UV light with an output of 580mW, making it an ideal choice for various applications.
In addition to the UV light, the Arkfeld UV also brings some aesthetic and functional upgrades. The tail has become slimmer, making charging more convenient, and the clip has been redesigned based on user feedback. It now features a reversible pocket clip, providing more carrying options. Furthermore, diagonal knurling has been added to enhance grip and overall comfort.
Arkfeld Pro: Triple the lights, Triple the Possibilities
With the Arkfeld Pro, Olight not only listened to customer feedback but also responded quickly by offering us an enhanced multifunctional flashlight that we desired. This latest addition builds upon the original concept of the Arkfeld and takes it to new heights.
✅Pro Lumen(1,300 lumens):
The Turbo mode of the Arkfeld Pro changes the game. It boasts an impressive 1,300 lumens, designed for moments when you need a strong beam to illuminate your surroundings. The previous Arkfeld and Arkfeld UV models had a maximum output of only 1,000 lumens, whereas this version raises it to 1,300 lumens, competing with other pocket EDC options.
This model and all the orange come with a cool white light, but if you choose the black model, you have the option of a neutral white light. I personally own one, and I prefer the floodlight effect of this type. If you're interested in the black model, check out the neutral white light option.

✅Pro Laser Precision (≤5mW Class 3R ):
The most significant improvement compared to previous models is the introduction of a 5mW Class 3R laser pointer. It's a genuinely powerful visible beam laser. In the dark, even with slight smoke, you can see the laser beam, which is pretty cool. It's important to note that it's not a toy, as indicated by the 3R marking on the side. This more powerful laser pointer allows for good performance even in daylight, and the new feature introduced in the Arkfeld Pro allows you to use the laser pointer and flashlight simultaneously.
The high-power laser in the Arkfeld Pro is a valuable tool in professional environments. From presentations and lectures to business meetings, having an accessible and precise laser pointer can make a significant impact. This feature caters to professionals who need to highlight key points in their work, making it a valuable addition for educators, engineers, and business leaders.
As a safety person, I still have to talk about eye safety. You don't want to point this laser into anyone's eyes, or even nearby, as this can cause temporary flash blindness and serious or even permanent eye damage. It also cannot be pointed at any vehicle, including aircraft, if you point this laser at an aircraft you will be arrested. If you use it indoors and point the laser at a table and then look at the dot, the dot itself is harmless. But if you point the laser at a wall or mirror in a room, you will clearly feel the laser passing through your line of sight when the laser reflects back. Be sure to take steps to avoid this happening.
✅Pro UV Discovery (Optical Power: 900 - 560mW, Wavelength 365 - 370nm):
Another upgrade is the UV light. In the previous version, the UV light function was very practical, but the power was slightly lower. This version of the UV light is very powerful, even more powerful than the Seeker 4 Mini UV light. With its enhanced 900mW UV capability, it is ideally suited for a variety of applications. Detect counterfeit money by revealing hidden UV signatures, explore the world of uranium glass with its unique glow, and even venture into the night to find fluorescent creatures like scorpions. It's a tool for investigators, antique enthusiasts, and outdoor enthusiasts.
✅Pro Capability:
Another big upgrade to the Arkfeld Pro is the built-in battery. The Arkfeld used a 1050 mAh lithium polymer battery, while the new model has increased to 1500 mAh. The larger battery capacity allows the green light laser pointer to work for about 60 hours, the UV light to work continuously for more than 5 hours, and the 1300-lumen white light to work continuously for about 4 minutes. This has always been one of the advantages of the built-in lithium polymer battery, which has good sustained output in high brightness mode. There is also a high brightness mode which is about 420 lumens and can run continuously for more than 2 hours, so it is more cost-effective and the size is slightly increased, but I think it is acceptable because so many functions are integrated into one product. It still fits nicely in a pocket, is very slim, and the pocket clip is very well designed for use as a headlamp. Also very practical in emergency situations.
Of course, this flashlight also has flash and timer modes, the latter of which can automatically turn off the flashlight after 3 or 9 minutes. Another new feature that Arkfeld Pro brings is the ability to use a laser pointer alongside white light. While working, if you want to point out some work that needs to be done, you can now not only point out problem areas but also illuminate them simultaneously, all in one step. I should also mention that the Arkfeld has an IPX7 waterproof rating, which is a bit lower than other Olight flashlights, but 7 means it can still be submerged in water for short periods of time, whereas other models can be submerged for longer periods of time.

Comparison summary
Despite being about 0.4 inches longer than the previous version, the Arkfeld Pro retains the same flat shape and lightweight design, making it an ideal everyday carry (EDC) light. It still virtually disappears into a coat or pants pocket, always ready when you need it.
