CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate
After years of hard work by our development personnel, Olight's laboratory has finally been awarded the CNAS laboratory certificate - OLIGHT is the first mobile lighting company in China to receive this accreditation.
What is the CNAS Laboratory Certificate?
CNAS is an accreditation body established under the approval of the China National Accreditation and Certification Administration (CNCA), which aims to centralize the testing accredited by certification bodies, laboratories, inspection bodies, and other relevant bodies. The CNCA is also a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Organization (ILCA) and the Asia-Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Organization (APAC) Mutual Recognition Agreement, which allows its certificates to be mutually recognized with the FAMIC laboratory accreditation in Japan.
How is a laboratory's technical competence judged?
Professional technical assessors conduct inspections and critically assess different organizations according to the internationally recognized standard ISO/IEC 17020. This includes.
● Technical competence of staff (including qualifications, training, and experience)
● Appropriateness of inspection methods
● Use of appropriate equipment (Correct calibration and Maintenance)
● Safeguards to ensure impartiality and confidentiality
● Codes of conduct and processes for safe working
● Effective quality assurance processes.
Once accredited, inspection bodies will regularly re-assess to ensure they maintain the required standards and operational practices for inspections.
