Comparison:Arkfeld /Arkfeld UV /Arkfeld Pro
The Arkfeld Pro is kind of like the more powerful child of the original Arkfeld and the Arkfeld UV, as it combines white light, green laser, and UV light into one body, which is why it's larger.
Other upgrades to the Pro version include the UV lamp, which now features a 900mw UV lamp, a 55% increase in UV output over the original Arkfeld UV. I turn on both UV lights at the same time, you can see that the Pro version is noticeably brighter, and actually shows up better on camera than I thought.
Plus, it also increases the power of the green laser, so now let me pick up the original Arkfeld and turn on the green laser mode and you can see the difference and see how much brighter the green dot is on the Pro version. It's not called the Arkfeld Pro for nothing, and there are a lot of upgrades in this version over the previous Arkfeld model.
So, are there any sacrifices? Of course, it's bigger. If I pick them up side by side, you'll see that it's much larger in length, width, and thickness, as well as heavier. But that has a lot to do with the larger battery. The Arkfeld Pro has a larger internal battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh, which is 42.9% larger than these two versions. There's also a 30% increase in lumens, with both flashlights offering 1,000 lumens compared to the Pro version's 1,300.
The Arkfeld Pro borrows a lot of features from the Arkfeld UV, you can see it borrows the double-sided anti-slip texture from the UV version, and it also borrows a two-way pocket clip, a feature the original Arkfeld never had, while retaining the narrowness of the tail Type design, which is also found on Arkfeld UV.
At the same time, it retains four LED power indicators. If I press the button again, you will see that it is a power-on power indicator with four LED lights. Each LED represents a brightness
level, but when the power is lower than 10 %, only the first LED will light up, and it will turn red. There are five battery-level indicators indicated by four LEDs.
Let's take a look at this rotary dial, all the operations can be controlled by this single side switch, you can switch between UV, white light and green laser by rotating it, but look at the difference on this rotary dial, it dial There is now only one small bump, compared to two bumps on the previous Arkfeld and Arkfeld UV products. This may take time for people who are used to old products to adapt to the new dial.
The Arkfeld Pro is one of my favorite outdoor flashlights. I love its flat design. The flat design is great for everyday carry. It feels good in your pocket. It’s much better than traditional round flashlights. This is my personal opinion. . So I really like the tablet design of the Arkfeld series. Now it has added this dual-purpose clip here, and the larger size may take up a little more area in the pocket, but it also feels great for people with larger palms. Compared with Size and longer battery life, I would prefer longer battery life.
The reason I recommend this flashlight to everyone over and over again is because I think it's a great flashlight, especially with this laser pointer. Although I don't have a job that requires me to use this laser pointer, whether I'm working in an office and need to point to a presentation on the wall, or I'm out and about communicating with the team about shooting needs, I will often use this green laser pointer to point me where I need to go. or the location of an object.
But the thing about the Arkfeld Pro's UV light is that it also helps a lot in daily life, like checking for stains on sheets when you check into a hotel, and if you have pets (I do) you can spot pet urine, and some people use it to Identify counterfeit banknotes and even be used for tracking hunts. I think it's pretty cool to combine these three apps into one flashlight.
Now before moving on to discussing lumens and battery life, let me show you the differences between the three. Please see the picture below
It can be clearly seen from the picture that the 1300 lumens Arkfeld Pro is brighter than the 1000 lumens Arkfeld and ARkfeld UV.
Arkfeld Pro’s lumens and battery life
Now, let’s take a look at the Arkfeld Pro’s lumens and battery life.
🔥Let’s start with the moonlight mode, 1 lumen, with a maximum battery life of 11 days. I like the 1-lumen moonlight mode.
🔥Low 15 lumens, 55 hours of battery life,
🔥Medium 100 lumens, battery life 9 hours 45 minutes,
🔥High 420 lumens for 35 minutes, then reduced to 100 lumens for 12 minutes,
🔥Then there is the turbo mode with a maximum output of 1300 lumens, which lasts for 4 minutes and then drops to 420 lumens, which lasts for 125 minutes, and you can see that the longest range of the turbo mode is 102 meters, 2,608 candelas, so it is not the brightest in the world Or the longest range flashlight, but definitely enough for everyday carry, I think the mode spacing here is pretty good, the 1 lumen moonlight mode is always a welcome one, followed by the 15lumens, 420lumens, which I think are great.
But I wanted to add another mode between high and turbo because I felt the jump from 420 to 1300 was too big.
Okay, There is also a brand new feature that I really like. If you have green laser mode turned on, just double-click the button on the side to enter white light mode and green laser mode at the same time. You can also cycle through modes here, maybe because the green laser is so bright you may not be able to see it clearly, but you can certainly see it in low light. This is something the original Arkfeld flashlight couldn't do, so I think it's great to be able to activate both green laser and white light modes at the same time.
As a flashlight, I really like the Olight Arkfeld series. It's one of my favorite flashlights, and Olight combines the two previous Arkfeld and UV versions into the Pro version. What's not to like? Yes, it may be slightly larger, but if you think about it, it replaces two flashlights, so from that perspective, it's not that big. Additionally, the increased lithium-ion battery capacity of 1500 mAh allows you to enjoy longer usage, which is always a plus. The Olight Arkfeld is one of my favorite flashlights, and it’s almost impossible not to like the Pro version because it’s a 3-in-1 product while still maintaining the typical Olight quality.
