A round flashlight rolls off the table easily, right?
So, what about a slim, flat flashlight?
Today I want to briefly talk about which thin flashlight to choose and what to use it for, since I own four different versions of flashlights made by Olight.
Okay, let’s take a quick look at it. Olight has four models of flat flashlights, the Arkfeld, Arkfeld UV, Arkfeld Pro, and Arkflex. They are very similar in functionality, and either one is very comfortable and easy to carry. Compared to AAA flashlights, they are the same thickness but have more features.
The original version of Arkfeld had laser and white light, and you could switch between the two. All of these flashlights are IPX7 waterproof and can basically handle any environment you want to use them in, which I really like. I think Arkfeld is particularly suitable for situations where you may need to use a laser pointer in an office environment. It also has a flashlight function, killing two birds with one stone.
The second flashlight, the Arkfeld UV, has a UV function in addition to the standard white light and is slightly thinner in shape. It also has a reversible clip, which is perfect for clipping it to your hat without using your hands, which is a very good improvement. UV light is especially suitable for mothers with babies at home to check home hygiene, as well as for fluorescence testing of maternal and infant products.
Then Olight came out with the Arkfeld Pro based on a fan request, which I thought was basically a huge upgrade over the Arkfeld and the Arkfeld UV, that's my opinion. It doesn't completely replace the Arkfeld UV, as it has a slimmer appearance. The Arkfeld Pro has brighter UV, brighter laser, and brighter white light, making it 1,300 lumens brighter than the other two flashlights with similar runtimes. So if you are considering buying this model, I recommend choosing this one, it has an additional feature, that is when you turn on the laser and double click, you can get laser and light at the same time, and you can also adjust the light when the laser is on Output, this design is very cool and I really like the introduction of this little feature.
Of course, there's also Arkflex, Olight's newly released adjustable-angle flashlight. It's a very convenient life tool for people who don't wear hats because you can put it on the front of your shirt and adjust the angle without using your hands. . A 1000-lumen flashlight, is very practical.
Three flashlights you might want to consider right now are the Arkfeld, Arkfeld Pro, and Arkflex. I think Arkfeld UV has been surpassed by several other models, so I don’t recommend this one.
Just know that if you like the clean and minimalist look of the original Arkfeld, this is a very good choice, especially since the Olight's rich flashlight color looks can be matched in an office environment.
Please note that there is an Arkfeld UV flashlight in the picture
While the Arkfeld is smaller than the Arkfeld Pro, the features built into the Pro are excellent, both UV and laser, and the reversible clip still works, and it also weighs less than my Warrior Mini 3, so if you want to spend one Money can directly buy a flashlight with three light sources. I recommend the Arkfeld Pro. I think it feels good in the hand and is still a relatively lightweight flashlight. It has a built-in lithium polymer battery and is a very good choice.
As for the Arkflex, I recommend it to anyone who doesn't need additional features but needs a versatile flashlight that you can magnetically attach to anywhere, adjust the angle, and use the clip in multiple directions, it's a very versatile product.
The above are my suggestions. Don’t worry about Olight’s product quality and after-sales issues. With its lifetime warranty policy, you can buy with confidence.
Okay, that’s all for today, thank you very much for your time
